This is the first postage due stamp issued by the newly formed Republika Srpska postal administration. The design features the Serbian coat of arms, a white two-headed eagle on a red shield, with the Cyrillic inscription 'РЕПУБЛИКА СРПСКА' above and 'ПОШТА' below. The denomination '0.50' is prominently displayed at the bottom.

Issued in 1992 following the declaration of the Republika Srpska, this stamp marks the beginning of its independent postal service during the Bosnian War.
