The longest definitive series ever produced was released in Venezuela between 1951 and 1954. It consisted of 13 ordinary stamps, ranging in value from 5c to 5b, and 17 air stamps, from 5c to 10b. Each showed the coat of arms of one of Venezuela's 23 provinces as well as the national arms. The denominations issued for each province varied, and no complete series of 30 stamps appeared for any one province. This series was printed in photogravure by Courvoisier.
