A postal cover franked with a 4¢ Lincoln Sesquicentennial stamp and a 5¢ St. Lawrence Seaway stamp, bearing a special 'Missile Mail' postmark and a cachet illustrating a missile launch from a submarine.
This cover commemorates the world's first and only official missile mail delivery, where a Regulus cruise missile launched from the USS Barbero delivered 3,000 letters from a submarine to a naval air station in Florida on June 8, 1959.
