United States · 1987 · $10
This stamp, commonly known as the 1987 Duck Stamp, features a pair of Redhead ducks floating on the water. The design was created by artist Arthur G. Anderson. These stamps are required for hunting migratory waterfowl in the United States.
The Federal Duck Stamp program, initiated in 1934, raises funds for the acquisition and protection of wetland habitats for the National Wildlife Refuge System. Ninety-eight cents of every dollar generated goes directly to this conservation effort.
