The stamp features a central cross design with Cyrillic text 'ВЪ ПОЛЬЗУ ПОСТРАДАВШИХЪ ОТЪ ВОЙНЫ' (In aid of those suffering from the war) and '3 КОП.' and '7 КОП.' denominations, set within a decorative border.
The original Russian Charity Issue stamps were released in 1905 to raise funds for victims of the Russo-Japanese War. This item is a known forgery of that historically significant issue.
