This is a collection of 25 different used postage stamps from the independent republics that emerged after the dissolution of the USSR, Yugoslavia, and Czechoslovakia. The stamps represent the early postal history of these newly formed nations in the early 1990s.

Following the fall of the Berlin Wall and the collapse of communist regimes, the Soviet Union, Yugoslavia, and Czechoslovakia dissolved, leading to the creation of numerous independent countries that began issuing their own stamps.
