Various · 1900 ·
This is a collection of 25 different used postage stamps from the new independent republics that emerged after the dissolution of the USSR, Yugoslavia, and Czechoslovakia. The stamps represent the early postal history of these newly formed nations.
Following the fall of the Berlin Wall in 1989 and the subsequent collapse of communist states, numerous new countries were established in Eastern and Central Europe, each issuing their own unique stamps.
