Small, gummed pieces of paper used by stamp collectors to mount stamps into albums. They are designed to be easily removable, though older hinges can sometimes leave residue or damage the gum of a stamp.

Stamp hinges were the primary method for mounting stamps for many decades, especially before the widespread availability of archival-safe stamp mounts. They are still used by some collectors, particularly for common stamps or for stamps that have already been hinged.
