This is one of Poland's first postage due stamps, issued shortly after the country regained independence. The design features the Polish crowned eagle, a national symbol, within an ornate circular frame. The denomination '2' is prominently displayed at the bottom, with the currency 'h' (for Halerz) on either side.

Issued in 1919, this stamp represents the establishment of a new postal system in the Second Polish Republic following the end of World War I and the partitioning empires.
