This definitive stamp features a portrait of Queen Wilhelmina of the Netherlands. The design, by Dutch artist Jan Veth, shows the Queen in a three-quarter profile facing left, wearing a distinctive fur collar. The denomination '25 CENT' is prominently displayed at the bottom.
Issued during the interwar period, this series replaced the earlier 'Coronation' definitives and was in common use for postage throughout the mid-1920s in the Netherlands.
