The stamp depicts the Kaiser's yacht 'Hohenzollern II' with 'DEUTSCHES REICH' and 'KAMERUN' inscriptions. It bears a diagonal British occupation overprint 'C.E.F.' (Cameroon Expeditionary Force) and the new denomination '2½d'.

Issued during World War I, this stamp signifies the British occupation of German Kamerun, where existing German colonial stamps were overprinted for use by the occupying forces.
