The stamp features a central coiled dragon design, with 'SHANGHAI' at the top and 'LOCAL POST' at the bottom. The denomination '20 CASH' is displayed on either side of the dragon.
Issued by the Shanghai Local Post, this stamp reflects the unique postal services established by foreign concessions in China during the late 19th century. These stamps were used for mail within the International Settlement of Shanghai.
