This set of stamps, designed by students from the Basel School of Design, features abstract graphic designs symbolizing joint growth and mutual support. The two values, a CHF 1.20 stamp with a CHF 0.55 surcharge and a CHF 1.40 stamp with a CHF 0.60 surcharge, continue the annual tradition of raising funds for the Pro Juventute foundation.

Since 1912, Swiss Post has issued annual Pro Juventute (For the Youth) semi-postal stamps, with the surcharge directly supporting children and youth projects throughout Switzerland.
