This set of four Bulgarian stamps commemorates the 30th anniversary of the Ilinden Uprising. The designs feature portraits of revolutionary leaders Gotse Delchev, Dame Gruev, and Hristo Tatarchev, along with a scene depicting the uprising itself.

The Ilinden Uprising of 1903 was an organized revolt by the Internal Macedonian Revolutionary Organization (IMRO) against the Ottoman Empire, aiming for an independent Macedonian state or unification with Bulgaria. Though suppressed, it became a pivotal event in Bulgarian and Macedonian national consciousness.
