Bosnia and Herzegovina Sovereign Overprints

This series consists of Yugoslavian definitive stamps from the 1990s overprinted with the coat of arms of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the text 'SUVERENA BOSNA I HERCEGOVINA'. These overprints were applied to existing stamp stock following the country's declaration of independence. These are considered illegal or cinderellas as they were not officially sanctioned postal issues.
