This set of six stamps from the People's Republic of Albania showcases the nation's industrial and touristic development. The designs feature scenes such as the Stalin textile factory, the Mao Zedong hydroelectric plant, a sugar factory, a cement factory, and scenic views of the coastal city of Durrës and the historic city of Gjirokastër.

Issued during the communist era under Enver Hoxha, these stamps were propaganda tools to promote Albania's self-sufficiency and socialist progress in both heavy industry and tourism.
